The Central Kamabido Networking CBO is a registered non-governmental organization  established in the year 2010/2011 for the benefit of mankind especially for the economically and socially backward rural people.

​

Over the past 9 years, we have worked to identify and meet the needs and aspirations of the rural poor through participatory approaches for development in 142 villages of Ndhiwa sub-county and Homa Bay County selected.
 

WHAT WE DO

 

   

We are mainly focused on sustainable improvement of livelihoods of small scale farmers through sustainable agriculture and, in particular, organic farming, Using local available materials to improve the soil, yield and farmers standards of living, 

 

We believe that social education, economical development of neglected women and children of most backward communities and minorities through organizing the women into groups, will change the life of the community. 

 

Providing opportunities, training, exposure and workshops on leadership, decision making,  free legal aids will improve and strengthen the women involvement in the process at all levels.

      We are committed to promote sustainable development initiatives particularly among the poor people and poor small scale farmers in Southern region and other adjacent areas through participatory and innovative practices.
